Lafayette Family Portrait  1993

From 1991-1993 Maureen set out to document her local community of Lafayette, Colorado. She was moved by the diversity there, and with the help of some local schoolteachers, the Historical Museum, and many helpful locals, she wove a 'tapestry' of photographs that reflected that diversity.

​

The final exhibition was split among 4 venues and free walking tours were organized to show visitors the history of the area as told through its residents...the subjects of her photographs.
