Following the Atlanta Portfolio Review in October, 2010, I was invited to bring my portfolio “Diptychs of Nature” to exhibit at the inaugural opening of the Desert Art Palace in XiangSha Wan, Inner Mongolia, at the eastern edge of the Gobi Desert.  I attended that event, along with 10 other American photographers and hundreds of Chinese photographers, in early January, 2011.  These photographs depict some scenes from the cities of Baotou, Erdos, and the beautiful Gobi Desert.
